Director - Dr Andrew Dennis Dip. Prac. Man., BSc. Hons., PhD.: Andrew (“the long suffering husband”) combined his skills and energy with Diana’s to create The Doctor House, bringing it from concept to reality. He brought to the table project management skills gained through an award winning science career, design skills, the fish tank and a passion to provide a high quality service to the Atherton Tablelands. He has been keen to ensure that processes and procedures at The Doctor House are based on sound evidence and research. Therefore, he and Kerry are developing and implementing systems for the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of The Doctor House. Andrew is a local north Queenslander with a passion for its wildlife and outdoor recreation.
Dr Diana House MBBS (WA) FRACGP DAME: Diana is passionate about providing a quality health service to Yungaburra and the surrounding area. She has been practicing on the Atherton Tablelands since transferring here in 1994 and has collected additional qualifications and skills in a range of areas including Skin Surgery, Ultrasound, Aviation and Travel Medicine among others. Prior to being on the Tablelands she trained in anaesthetics in Townsville but switched to General Practice to practice her natural talents in diagnostics and surgery. Her original medical degree is from the University of Western Australia in Perth. She is married with three wonderful children, long suffering husband and a menagerie of animals, fortunately no snakes among the assortment. When not working she enjoys sailing, gardening and trying to stay fit.
Dr Adrian Asinas BSc Med Tech; BSc Nursing; MD: Adrian is a highly skilled doctor with the added advantage of qualifications and experience in nursing and medical technology. He has extensive experience both overseas and in Australia. Having trained and practiced in the Philippines and worked in Tasmania and Victoria, the combination of broad qualifications and experience in health gives him a well-rounded and deep understanding as a General Practitioner. Adrian has settled in Yungaburra with his wife and two children and enjoys exploring north Queensland and mentoring doctors in training through social media.

Dr Nay Thitsar Tun MBBS FRACGP Dip. Child Health: Nay has a special interest in women’s and children’s health and acute emergency medicine. Dr Nay first trained in Burma where she spent several years working in emergency medicine before taking a position as a medical officer in Jamaica. She then returned to Burma and practiced as a GP before moving to Australia and working for three years in Alice Springs Hospital and in a general practice in Innisfail. She completed a Diploma in Child Health through Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and has now specialised as a General Practitioner through the Tropical Medical Training program. When not practicing, studying or furthering her considerable skills, Dr Nay enjoys the stimulating and enriching experience of travel.
Dr Jess Adams MBBS FRACGP Cl. Dip. Pal. Med.: Jess is passionate about palliative care and cancer pain management and undertook a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine in Bendigo Victoria. She is also happy to see the full range of general practice presentations, including paediatrics, antenatal care and women’s health. She is a Cairns local, who moved to study and work in Victoria for 13 years, getting her degree at Monash University, before returning to the Tablelands. Outside of work Jess is a keen gardener, baker and enjoys arts and crafts.
